Tver Park Hotel — modern MICE in an old town

In January 2014 Tver Park Hotel took part in the Business and Conference Hotel Attestation Program of the Russian Association of Business Travel and was certified as a business hotel.

According to hotel staff team, cooperation with ABT has allowed them to follow new offers for business guests and keep abreast of the situation in the hotel market. Since the hotel started participating in the program, it has undergone great changes: Wi-Fi speed has increased up to 10 megabits per second, «All inclusive» conference package has appeared, the surface of working desks in the rooms has been enlarged.

Tver Park Hotel is a three star hotel located at the driveway to the town of Tver from the direction of Moscow. This is the only hotel in Tver that is situated on the bank of the Volga in a quiet place among birch trees. The hotel offers 40 rooms and a conference hall that can be easily transformed into a banqueting hall or a restaurant with European or Russian cuisine. As the hotel complex is located away from city noise, it allows its guests to combine business communication and leisure.

Tver Park Hotel offers business travellers a transfer from Tver railway station and even from Moscow — you can cover the distance of 170 kilometres by car in only 1,5 hours. Guests can use a laundry, a personal safe, a parking and choose a non-smoking room.

The main advantage of hotel rooms is their large area. The hotel offers rooms of five categories: single rooms, economy twin rooms, twin rooms, suites and apartments (single rooms are 19 sq. metres, twins are 36 sq. metres).

The hotel provides all the necessary facilities for conferences, seminars, presentations, trainings and business meetings. The large conference hall with the area of 80 sq. metres can hold up to 80 persons. The small hall, which is on the second floor, with the area twice as small, can hold up to 30 persons. Both halls are equipped with multimedia projectors, screens, sound enhancing equipment, flip charts, computers, printers, Wi-Fi and air conditioning. You can hold small meetings (not more than 10 persons) in the reception room.

There is the «Birch Grove» restaurant in Tver Park Hotel. You can hold business meetings in the summer house, veranda, on the water platform. Banquets, weddings are often held in the hotel, there are two barbeque sites. Izba is a new great place for banquets. The house is designed in the Russian style, all the dishes are cooked in the Russian oven. There is a special entertainment program for business travellers — all-the-year-round Russian cuisine festival is available upon request for groups of 10 persons and more, its high point is the celebration of the Russia Day on June 12th.

In 2003 Tver Park Hotel won the Tver Regional Tourism Award «The Star of the Upper Volga». In 2005 the hotel was the diploma winner of the Yuri Senkevich National Tourism Award in the «Best Small Hotel» category. In 2012 Tver Park Hotel was assigned a three star category of the state classification system of travel industry objects. The hotel complex is a member of Tourism Association of Tver region. Business and Conference Hotel Attestation Program of the Russian Association of Business Travel is a voluntary proof of the fact that the hotel meets business travellers` demands. The program standard includes 345 criteria of a «business hotel» category and additional 55 criteria to certify a business and conference hotel (as the result of the inspection either of two categories, and not stars, is assigned to the hotel — a business or a conference hotel). In order to receive the Certificate, the hotel should get not less than 75% of reference points. ABT Certificate is a great opportunity to make a name in the business travel market.
