How many cups of tea do businessmen drink during a coffee break? What dishes are the most popular? Do men really like sweet things more than women? All these questions may be answered by hotels that arrange business meals on a daily basis.

The «Favorite» restaurant (situated in Cronwell Inn Stremyannaya hotel, Saint Petersburg) offers two rooms for elite events — the Conference room (for 15 persons) and the Tea room (for 20 persons). The second place is occupied by a light fresh vegetable salad (26%). The traditional Russian salad is the third (17%). According to our reporter, yesterday afternoon the Head of Moscow criminal investigation police Mr Koshko met the Chairman of Pereyaslavl town foremen Mr Kalyakin in the Savoy restaurant. The reporter can not tell us about the details of the meeting because he was not allowed into the restaurant by the porter who said «Those with a mug like yours don’t guzzle canopies here», but the reporter was sure that it was a matter of state importance. Nevertheless, the reporter noticed that on their table there was only pig jelly with garlic and greens, horse radish and mustard for 25 kopeks per half a pound, baked sterlet for 1,5 roubles per half a pound, salt salmon for 2 roubles per pound, one pound of sturgeon caviar for 10 roubles 60 kopeks, borsch for 5 kopeks per litre, vodka. After this rather long meeting was over, Mr Kalyakin was carried out by the waiters and placed into a cab. Mr Kalyakin had been singing obscene songs till he left.
